The Reverse Osmosis Difference

Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) is a state-of-the-art water purification technology. The process uses a synthetic semipermeable membrane to separate pure water molecules from dissolved and undissolved impurities. As unfiltered water (entry water) passes over the membrane, salt and metal ions are repelled from the membrane while water molecules are attracted to it. Particulate matter - impurities - are eliminated by the sieving process of the membrane. Extremely fine pores only .0005 microns in size filter out all solids. All that passes through the process into each bottle of Vital H2O is pure water.

The Reverse Osmosis Process

R.O. is the only known process (except for costly, energy-consuming distillation) that can effectively remove all types of impurities from drinking water:

  • Particulate matter such as turbidity and sediment
  • Collodial matter
  • Dissolved solids
  • Toxic metals
  • Radioactive elements
  • Microorganisms
  • Asbestos
  • Pesticides and herbicides
